Over half a decade performing across UK cities from London to Leicester, in Europe from Sweden to Cyprus (Ayia Napa) and even North Africa, the 5ft Heroes have become pioneers as musical revolutionists in their effort to provide positive vibes.
Throughout their career they've been involved in hosting launch parties for labels such as Atlantic, Def Jam and VP. This led the duo to become a part of the Sony BMG Street Team, aiding promotional campaigns to launch careers for a number of high profile artists. From playing at established RnB events like Twice as Nice, to premier night clubs such as Ministry of Sound and even being a part of Europe's biggest outdoor festival, The Notting Hill Carnival, the 5ft Heroes core ability is entertaining the crowd.
Best known in the industry as remix producers the 5ft Heroes have created a range of tracks for stations such as BBC Radio One & 1xtra, Kiss and for DJs such as Tim Westwood and even HOT 97s Funk Master Flex. The duo have collaborated with many artists throughout their different shows, opening for such acts as Blackstreet, Jagged Edge, Mims, Sway DaSafo, Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder, Will I Am and Wyclef Jean just to name a few.
On a street level the 5ft Heroes are known for their exclusive mixtapes. The duo has solely distributed over 48,000 units in less than 18 months across the South Coast of the UK, the Midlands and London. Recently the launch of their website (www.5ftheroes.com) has seen a record number of downloads and links being shared all over the Social Media Sites and the Internet.
From promotions to production they are involved in every element of their industry. From weekly events to radio shows, the 5ft Heroes are ever progressing. With future production projects, the 5ft Heroes are set to travel to the USA and Jamaica to create tracks for various labels later this year. Currently they are in the studio producing and working on a Bob Marely remix album featuring other members in the Marley family as well as artists from the USA and UK. The album is set to launch mid-late 2011.
